Edward Enninful outlines vision for EE72, his new global media and entertainment company

Ghanaian-born British editor and stylist Edward Enninful has unveiled his vision for EE72, a newly launched global media and entertainment company.

The former editor-in-chief of British Vogue and European editorial director of Condé Nast unveiled EE72 on Monday, February 17, 2025, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career.

Leveraging his extensive experience in fashion and media, Enninful’s new venture is poised for success.

EE72 aims to redefine storytelling by championing authentic representation and narratives that resonate in today’s interconnected world.

Through strategic collaborations with visionary creators and pioneering companies, EE72 will develop and produce transformational content, immersive experiences, and innovative products that challenge audiences to see the world through a fresh lens.

“EE72 represents a natural progression of the foundation I’ve built my career on,” Enninful said in a statement. “We’re creating a space where creativity transcends boundaries, where diverse voices don’t just exist—they lead. Our mission is to reshape how we see and understand each other, building bridges across cultures and communities.”

With Edward Enninful as co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, Akua Enninful, a co-founder – will be leading the company.

Beginning his groundbreaking career as fashion director of i-D magazine at age 18, he went on to become the first Black editor-in-chief of British Vogue and European editorial director of Vogue.

Under his leadership, British Vogue experienced unprecedented growth across both digital and print platforms. His transformative work earned him an OBE for services to diversity in the fashion industry, and his creative vision has influenced collaborations with the world’s leading photographers, artists, and cultural figures.

Known for placing diversity of perspective at the core of his work, Enninful has consistently broken new ground in storytelling and representation, making him one of the most significant voices in contemporary media and entertainment. Most recently, he served as global creative and cultural advisor of Vogue, where he continued to shape the future of media on a global scale.
