Jay-Z has revealed that he and his family have received death threats online due to what he calls “malicious and fictitious” allegations that he raped a 13-year-old.

In a legal declaration, the rapper states that since being accused—alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs—of assaulting the teen at a 2000 VMAs after party, they have faced violent threats, including messages from people claiming they want to “kill” or “execute” them.

Jay-Z, 55, has faced widespread calls for his imprisonment following allegations of sexual assault, with some suggesting he should join Diddy “in prison, then later in hell.”

According to the Daily Mail, the rapper has also been labeled a “satanist,” “trafficker,” “terrorist,” and “monster,” while being subjected to racial slurs online.

The rape lawsuit against Jay-Z was quietly dropped on Friday by the accuser’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee. This comes as Jay-Z continues his legal battle against Buzbee, whom he sued in December for extortion, defamation, and emotional distress. The declaration is part of the ongoing litigation in the case.

Jay-Z claims attorney Buzbee strategically filed the lawsuit a day before the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King, which starred his wife, Beyoncé, and daughter, Blue Ivy, to pressure him into either attending or avoiding the event amid the allegations.

The rapper also alleges he lost $20 million in business deals and endorsements as companies sought to distance themselves from the controversy.

“I felt that Mr. Buzbee was placing a gun to my head — that I either bow to his demands or endure personal financial ruin,” Jay-Z’s declaration reads, according to a report by Yahoo.com.

Jay-Z says he has suffered “mental anguish” and has been forced into hiding since the allegations surfaced.

He also attempted to compel his accuser to reveal her identity, but a judge denied the request in late December.

Attorney Buzbee has filed multiple lawsuits on behalf of alleged victims of Combs, who now faces over 40 legal cases. Combs has denied the allegations but remains in custody awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
