Windhoek Fashion Week

Currently, in its third year, the Windhoek Fashion Week takes place in November. The inaugural event in 2016 featured three local designers and two international designers. It has now grown to include more designers and even more models.

According to  Luis Munana, the founder and director of the event, “We are trying to get our designers to a level where they can compete internationally. We are also trying to make our local products accessible to the local market and the community and the only way we can do this is by providing them with a platform where they can showcase their items and be identified.”
