Tamera Preacher, a military veteran and entrepreneur, founded LyingClient.com to allow business owners and entrepreneurs to report problematic customers and share their experiences. She created the platform as a response to three consecutive negative experiences she had with some difficult customers.

According to Black Business, one incident involved her general contracting company being falsely reported to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). This inspired her to create a platform that exposes dishonest customers.

Though she lacked a technical background, Preacher was determined to create the platform. She consulted an attorney to understand the legal aspects of recording and displaying customer information. She encountered some challenges while trying to find the right website developer who shared her passion, high standards, and vision for a user-friendly platform.

She believed it was crucial for the website to be easily accessible to busy individuals who lack time for extensive research or writing about customer information. With time, Preacher found the right developer and officially launched the site.

Within two years of operation, LyingClient.com has gained a significant social media following and garnered attention from active business owners. It has even been ranked as the number one platform on Reddit for reporting “Karen” customers.

The website’s features include real-time scam alerts to help users stay informed and avoid falling victim to fraudulent customer activities; a directory of negative customer experiences to enable informed decision-making; and advertising opportunities for businesses to showcase their services to a targeted audience of professionals.

The platform also has a legal aid page and offers resources for starting, maintaining, and legally securing businesses. Its users can also find tips to safeguard their data and online presence against hackers, as well as enhance their knowledge of cybersecurity to protect sensitive information effectively.

As Preacher’s LyingClient.com became popular, she faced racial attacks and cyberbullying due to her firm stance on exposing “Karen” customers. However, the platform’s significance and innovative approach have been acknowledged, and despite facing litigation, the website remains operational.
