Ex-teacher’s aide accused of licking boy’s feet arrested again after approaching another minor about his feet

A 26-year-old Georgia man accused of licking a boy’s feet and molesting many other children at a school he once worked was recently re-arrested after he approached another minor and asked to see his feet.

According to The Augusta Press, Caurey Rollins, who is an ex-teacher’s aide, was arrested in connection with the recent incident on Friday. Authorities said he is being held without bond on attempted child molestation charges.

The accused man had been released on bond when he was recently arrested. Rollins, who wasn’t made to wear an ankle monitor when he was released, approached the 12-year-old boy on May 17. The minor was playing basketball outside his home when Rollins pulled up and initiated a conversation with him.

During their interaction, the suspect showed the minor a photo of a boy’s feet on his phone and asked him if the feet looked like his. The boy replied saying no, but Rollins then asked the boy if he could take a look at his feet. The minor declined and ran indoors, per a sheriff’s report.

The boy’s mother was said to be aware of a similar incident and searched for a news story on Rollins. Her son also confirmed the man who pulled up in the car and spoke to him was Rollins.

The suspect is yet to stand trial after he was initially charged with eight counts of child molestation, The Augusta Press reported. Rollins had been released on a $38,700 bond despite opposition from Augusta District Attorney, Jared Williams.

As part of the conditions for his initial bond, Rollins was ordered to stay away from the victims, with an imposed curfew, jail records showed. He was also ordered to stay away from the places the alleged incidents occurred and be present for all court hearings.

Rollins is accused of molesting three fourth-grade girls at his former school. On April 11, he was indicted by a grand jury on seven counts of child molestation for those incidents. That indictment also came after the former teacher’s aide was arrested and indicted in January for allegedly sucking a minor’s feet.

He ultimately resigned on February 11 after the school system placed him on administrative leave.
