Richard Bona
Richard Bona is one of the most notable faces in the music industry in Cameroon. A Grammy award-winning Jazz bassist, Bona’s music prowess was spotted at a tender age by his father who was also a musician.
Born in Cameroon, he relocated to Germany at 22 to study music and then France where he further pursued his dream. It was in France that he became prosperous, playing in various jazz clubs in Paris and playing alongside, Manu Dibango, Salif Keita, Jacques Higelin and Didier Lockwood.
