Mohammed Wardi
Wardi is a Sudanese musician who performed using a variety of instruments. In his days, he was described as one of “Africa’s top singers” with his fanbase mainly stationed at the Horn of Africa.
His song addressed issues of revolution, patriotism, romance, passion, heritage and Nubian folklore. He was born on 19 July 1932 in Northern Sudan.
