The victory of Kendrick Lamar at the 2025 Grammys with ‘Not Like Us’ has got his fans talking. It was a memorable night after the rapper clinched five awards at the 67th edition, making it 22 wins and 57 nominations.
Kendrick’s ‘Not Like Us’ was one of his biggest projects in 2024, and it seems his jab at Drake has secured his place in history after becoming the artist with the most wins on a rap song at the iconic event.
On social media, Kendrick Lamar fans have been full of praise for the rapper after his victory, insisting he won the long-battled feud with Drake on Sunday night.
Kendrick is also now the most-awarded rap artist in the event’s history, and his fans say there’s no stopping him in 2025.
“Kendrick is really HIM. it’s no more debate.. a Grammy off a diss track is madness !”, one user wrote on X.
“bro i remember when this song first dropped. I was in a crazy long line for a roller coaster and i just checked my phone to listen to some music while i wait. I pull up YouTube and i see “Not Like Us” 4 MINUTES AGO!!!! Absolute amazing song and it deserves literally every award”, another stated.

Drake fans are however not buying it and believe Kendrick was favored over their favorite on the big night.
Kendrick Lamar had an incredible past year. His hit “Not Like Us” is a testament of his hard work and dedication to his art amid his long-lasting feud with Drake, and also speaks volumes in how he’s managed to stand out in the last decade.
Lamar was also announced as the headliner for the 2025 NFL Super Bowl and was the center of one of the biggest concerts in “The Pop Out” in Los Angeles.
Last November, the 37-year-old dropped a new album titled “GNX”, his sixth, which has gone on to become a delight to fans.
Lamar won five awards from a possible seven in the Song of the year category, Record of the Year, Best Rap song of the Year, Best Rap Performance and Best music video.
He’s cemented his place in the rankings of the music industry, yet will be looking to hit 2025 even stronger, as he aims to stay on top as one of the world’s biggest rap stars.
