Ocean Coast, South Africa
Situated at the point of convergence between the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic waters, the South African Ocean Coast enjoys nutrient rich waters that act as a reliable source of food for aquatic inhabitants in the area.
With a wealth of fish roaming around, the area has attracted a wide range of bird species, including the deep-sea Pelagic, Cape Gannet Sula, Sooty Shearwater, Petrel, and Subantarctic Skua.
The range of bird species in this area widens during the southern winter, which brings with it special birds such as the Northern Giant Petrel, Pintado Petrel, Antartic Prion, and Antarctic Tern. The site is also a perfect spot for other spectacular marine wildlife like whales, penguins, orcha, and seals.
