Five things you should know about record-breaking gymnast Gabby Douglas

Accomplishments

Douglas was a 2010 US Junior National Championship Beam Silver Medalist and a Pan American Championships Uneven Bars Gold Medalist as well as a three-time US National Team Member.

She was the 2011 World Championships Team Gold Medalist.

Apart from the 2012 Olympic Games in London where Douglass won a gold medal in the all-around individual event, she also had the following: Olympic Team Gold Medalist, US Olympic Trials All-Around Trials Champion, US Olympic Trials Uneven Bars Gold Medalist (tie), Pacific Rim Uneven Bars Gold Medalist, Secret US Classic Uneven Bars Gold Medalist. US National Championships All-Around Silver Medalist, US National Championships Uneven Bars Gold Medalist, US National Championships Floor Exercise Bronze Medalist.

In 2015, she was a US National Team Member, City Of Jesolo Trophy Team Gold Medalist, World Championships All-Around Silver Medalist, World Championships Team Gold Medalist.

In the 2016 Rio Olympics, Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber made up the Final Five gold medal team. She is also an AT&T American Cup All-Around Gold Medalist as well as the City of Jesolo All-Around Gold Medalist.
