Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi has tied the knot with her partner, Luthando Bolowana. The 31-year-old South African model-actress, known for keeping her relationship private, shared the joyful news with her 2.8 million Instagram followers on March 23, a day after her wedding.
Tunzi shared five photos from her wedding to Bolowana, which took place at the Belair Pavilion in Cape Town, South Africa, as reported by PEOPLE.

“22/03/2025????,” Tunzi captioned her post. “I love you endlessly..Husband????
.”
Tyme Collective, credited with photographing the March 22 nuptials, said the couple “welcomed an intimate group of close friends and family to celebrate their wedding.”
Tunzi dazzled on her wedding day, just as she did on the Miss Universe stage. She wore a custom off-the-shoulder, semi-sheer gown adorned with beaded flowers, designed by Vietnamese fashion designer Phan Huy, who expressed his honor at creating the dress.
Bolowana however opted for a classic cream suit jacket and black trousers for the ceremony.
“The gown took three months to complete, involving numerous stages and dedicated artisans, totaling over 700 hours of work,” Huy explained in an Instagram post, which also revealed the secrets behind the dress’s unique floral design.
“Each flower on the dress was hand-cut and shaped; the veil featured intertwined large and small floral rings adorned with over 300 organza flowers,” according to the post. “The 3D floral branches on the gown,” meanwhile, “were meticulously handcrafted by four artisans, incorporating more than 14 types of beads and stones,” Huy said.
Due to her busy schedule, Tunzi couldn’t attend an in-person fitting but the wedding dress fit flawlessly on the first try.
The stunning gown took center stage in a heartfelt wedding video filmed by Cinastage, capturing every special moment from guests arriving at Belair Pavilion to Bolowana’s emotional reaction as Tunzi walked down the aisle.
The touching footage also showcased the couple’s first kiss as newlyweds, sealing their union in a picture-perfect ceremony.
“And here we are,” Tunzi wrote in her caption. “Husband and Wife. A place so safe and sure. Here we are—Home????????????️.”
