A group of Ghanaians in New York have created a fabulous television station for Africans in the United States. The Onyx Channel “Onyx” is a new television station created to showcase African culture & talent in the United States and the Diaspora.

The Prestigious Akwaaba Media, Inc. (www.akwaabamedia.com) is the exclusive content provider for The Onyx Channel and in an unprecedented move have partnered with the media house of Blueprint District on this project. Showbiz personality and CEO of Blueprint District Quame Junior will spearhead this project in Africa. In an effort to bridge the gap between Africans on the continent and in the Diaspora, they are reaching out to all African content holders worldwide to provide them with the opportunity of having their products, both current & classic, such as music videos, documentaries, television shows, films, news programming, entertainment specials, etc. broadcast on a national platform.  This broadcast opportunity is provided at no cost to the artists & content holders. This broadcast platform will reach thousands of households locally in the New York metropolitan area and ultimately go national.

For an artist, having your content aired on national television in the United States at no cost, is not only a great opportunity for publicity and brand development, but also a wonderful medium to have your voices heard on serious issues concerning Africans worldwide.

If you have content relating to African culture, issues and entertainment and are interested in this opportunity, please contact Akwaaba Media, Inc. at content@akwaabamedia.com.
