Ismail Akwei is an international journalist, communications and media consultant, editor, writer, human rights advocate, pan-Africanist, tech enthusiast, history fanatic and a lover of arts and culture. He has worked with multinational media companies across the continent and has over a decade's experience in journalism.
Pamela Ofori-Boateng is a Ghanaian journalist and an open advocate. Pamela has worked with some major news outlets in Ghana and also as a science reporter for Science and Development Network (scidev.net/fr) in the UK. She has a special interest in women’s issues. With her passion for the open movement, she helps with the Monitoring and Evaluation Desk at Open Foundation West Africa (OFWA).

The statue of late musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab in Egypt was described as deformed for its gold and brown painting by the students of the Giza Technical Secondary School for Girls who built it.
Residents of the district expressed anger at the statue which critics said looked like a Nutella Hosni Mubarak.
