1. Who?

Everyone goes to Chale Wote. Everyone. From art aficionados to slay queens, bodybuilders, naturalists, ‘rastas’, and ‘area boys’, the free community-based event draws in a large cross-section of Ghana’s youth who look forward to the once yearly event to meet each other and see a host of cool art and activities they would not, unfortunately, see any other day. Visitors also fly thousands of miles to Accra to experience Chale Wote. Thousands of artists also respond to the call for artists to showcase their art and put on shows. In fact, without them, the event would not be what it is.
