Pay politicians and political parties

News outlets revealed that President Biya paid some political leaders to stand by him and support him in his re-election.  It was, therefore, no wonder that a day after Biya announced his reelection 20 opposition parties announced their support for him, increasing his chances of becoming president.

Many other African dictators have been known to trample on the opposition members, threatening, torturing and killing them.  Biya has also overseen the arrest of his critics including a university professor and a group of women who were complaining about lack of basic necessities.
