No smoking and alcohol when you feel depressed

Watch what you consume

Smoking and consuming alcohol can make depression worse because of their depressant effects, health experts say. Check your diet as well, and make sure they contain lots of vegetables, fruits and whole grains.

According to studies, a diet rich in fibre and lactose lowered one’s risk of getting depressed than pastries, bread, and other refined carbs.
