Canadian artist Drake is delving deeper into the fragrance industry with the launch of his first-ever fragrance oil, “Carby Musk,” under his Better World Fragrance House (BWFH). The fragrance oil features a blend of Lily of The Valley, Ambergris, Oakmoss, Skin Musk, and Amber Woods, all carefully curated to embody Drake’s signature scent.

Crafted by esteemed perfumer Michael Carby of Givaudan and approved by Drake himself, the scent exudes sophistication. It was first offered in a candle format that was released in 2021.

Drake initially launched his House line in 2020 and introduced candles such as Williamsburg Sleepover, Sweeter Tings, Muskoka, and Good Thoughts. In April 2022, he collaborated with Shoppers Drug Mart to release limited-edition candles in over 200 stores across Canada. Better World Fragrance House also joined forces with Goodwill Southern California for a pop-up art exhibit.

Now, Drake’s signature scent “Carby Musk” has evolved into a wearable fragrance oil for everyday use. On January 31 this year, Drake and Better World Fragrance House unveiled a commercial for the Carby Musk oil on his Instagram page.

Set to his “For All The Dogs” track titled “BBL Love,” the ad depicts women being captivated by the scent of their clothing. In a separate scene, Drake searches for a shirt sprayed with Carby Musk in his closet but can’t find it.

Exiting the closet, he finds his housekeeper sniffing the clothing. When he questions her actions, she responds, “It smells so good.”

Fans of the artist who would want to adopt his scent can purchase the 10 ML Carby Musk fragrance oil, which retails for $195, on the company’s website.
