Jamie Foxx has now finally responded to the allegations that Sean “Diddy” Combs was involved in his medical crisis. On his Netflix comedy special, the 56-year-old actor talked about his near-death medical emergency in April 2023, disclosing that he had a “brain bleed that led to a stroke.”

Foxx acknowledged after the stroke that he didn’t “remember 20 days” after being in a coma for weeks. Despite his silence during the entire situation, he was compelled to provide some answers after internet users recently took matters into their own hands and hypothesized that embattled music tycoon Diddy was “trying to kill” Foxx.

Foxx joked about the accusation on stage during his October “What Had Happened Was” special, which was recorded at Atlanta’s Alliance Theater. “The Internet said Puffy was trying to kill me, that’s what the Internet was saying. I know what you thinking, ‘Diddy?’ Hell no, I left them parties early. I was out by 9, something don’t look right. It’s slippery in here,” Foxx said.

The Academy Award-winning actor further said of his health scare, “Your life doesn’t flash before your face. It was kind of oddly peaceful. I saw the tunnel. I didn’t see the light. I was in that tunnel, though. It was hot in that tunnel. S— am I going to the wrong place in this mother—-er?”

“Because I looked at the end of the tunnel, and I thought I saw the devil like, ‘Come on.’ Or is that Puffy [Sean Combs]? I’m f—ing around.”

Foxx made a joke about the 1,000 bottles of baby oil that were taken from Diddy’s residence, adding, “If it was Puffy, he had a flaming bottle of Johnson &… I’m just kidding.”

HipHopDX reports that after the last of the three-night special’s filming in October, Gayle King recorded backstage footage in which Foxx acknowledged it was difficult to relive the whole thing.

“It was an excruciating time to be able to open those wounds every single day for three nights. It was excruciating because the worry is what gets you. We’ve got a great show in the room, but we don’t know what they may laugh or what they may not laugh at. Any comedian will tell you that’s the thing, the worry is the thing.”

“Usually, when you do a stand-up special, you go out for a year and a half and work every little nook and cranny, and then you tape it. You don’t just show up in Atlanta and turn the camera on. It’s a personal journey, and I hope I never have to – I am never going to go through this again. My next jokes will start out, ‘Knock, knock!’ I’ll do an hour and a half of ‘Knock, knock’ jokes,” he added.
