Kanye West And Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 2 Album Suffers Another Setback

ACCRA, 29st August 2011 – Top-selling Jamaican dance-hall artiste Mavado will be storming Ghana in October for a grand music concert.

Fans have been disappointed again as the highly anticipated album Vultures 2 from Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign has missed its release date. The album, expected to drop on May 3, has left fans checking their streaming services in vain.

In a recent interview, the music world was abuzz when Kanye hinted at the release of his second collaborative project with Ty. However, as the clock struck midnight, it became apparent that ‘Vultures 2’ would not be making its debut as promised. Disappointed fans took to social media to air their frustrations, with many questioning why they again fell for the hype.

Fans’ skepticism was not unfounded. Kanye West’s track record with album releases has been notably unpredictable, with several previous projects experiencing delays. The absence of a typical album rollout only added to the fans’ doubts this time.

The saga of ‘Vultures 2’ began with an accidental Instagram message from Kanye to a fan account, which he mistook for Baby Keem. In the exchange, Kanye West intended to release the album in May, pinpointing the third day of the month. This slip-up led to a wave of anticipation, which became a sigh of disappointment.

Originally slated for a March 8 release, ‘Vultures 2’ was to follow closely on the heels of its predecessor. Yet, the reasons for the delay remain shrouded in mystery, with Kanye West offering little more than “we’re in the lab” as an explanation.

Kanye has previously suggested that ‘Vultures 2’ might bypass streaming platforms altogether, deviating from the norm. Instead, he proposed selling the album directly to consumers through his website for $20. This strategy aligns with his vision of artists maintaining control over their work, free from the influence of streaming giants.

Kanye’s approach to album releases has always been unconventional. His previous album, ‘Donda 2’, was exclusively available through his Stem Player device, a strategy that stirred much discussion about the future of music distribution
