Kanye West has been going after Kendrick Lamar on social media for a while now, though the Not Like Us rapper has been mum.
Over the weekend, Kanye, 47, once again took to social media to claim that stakeholders in the music industry were “strategically” attempting to replace him with Kendrick. Per XXL, the College Dropout rapper made those comments when an X user shared a video claiming that the YouTube views Kendrick’s Luther video had amassed were because of the involvement of bots.
“Look man when I was dropping Graduation I had the whole building behind me too. That’s the way this profession is,” Kanye wrote on the video, though his post has since been deleted.
“He got 24 Grammies. They are strategically trying to erase what I did and earned with ni**as that won’t even be remembered 100 years from now. I’m by faaaarrr the most important artist of our lifetime. Everyone that works with the Super Bowl and Grammies can suck my d**k forewvvveeeerrr ni**a.”

As initially stated, this isn’t the first time Kanye has come after the Compton rapper. In one of his social media tirades in March, he emphatically stated that he wasn’t a fan of Kendrick’s music after the 37-year-old landed several features on fellow rapper Playboi Carti’s latest album.
“I DONT LIKE KENDRICK LAMARS MUSIC,” Kanye, who is also known as Ye, wrote. “HE RAPS VERY GOOD BUT I DIDNT NEED TO HEAR HIM ON CARTI ALBUM.”
Kanye then later took to social media to state that he hated Kendrick’s chart-topping and record-breaking Not Like Us diss song to fellow rapper Drake.
“I hated this so much,” Kanye also said in a March 28 post alongside a video of a 2023 Paris Fashion Week Louis Vuitton event where Kendrick performed.
