2. Cape MacClear Nature Reserve, Malawi
Cape MacClear Nature Reserve is one of the leading tourist destinations in Africa and the busiest resort on Lake Malawi. The reserve is also very popular with backpackers and kayakers and is home to a wide range of ecosystems, including islands, forests, and a bay. These ecosystems form a major part of the larger Lake Malawi National Park. In 1984, the area became a UNESCO World Heritage site.
