Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new allegations of drugging and sexually assaulting an aspiring male singer in 2015, according to a lawsuit.
The lawsuit filed Monday in New York County Supreme Court, brought by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, centers on accusations made by an unnamed man identified as John Doe. Doe claims that Combs assaulted him at an after-party in Los Angeles when he was 23 years old, after luring him with promises of a record deal and exclusive studio time.
According to the lawsuit, Doe had a growing professional relationship with the Bad Boy Records founder, who allegedly promised him an opportunity to sign with the label. However, the lawsuit states that Combs exploited his influence and power, leaving the aspiring artist traumatized.

“The conduct described herein is shockingly typical of how defendant Sean Combs conducted himself for many years,” the lawsuit reads. “Sean Combs believed he was above the law. He is not.”
“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor,” Diddy’s legal team responded to the allegations in a statement.
These latest allegations come as Combs faces mounting legal troubles. The music mogul was arrested in September 2024 on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. He remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, with his trial set to begin on May 5.
The lawsuit details that Doe was an up-and-coming rapper and singer who had performed at several high-profile venues in California, including QC’s 20/20 in Montebello. Combs allegedly attended one of Doe’s performances because his label was scouting new talent.

Before the show, a longtime associate of Combs reportedly approached Doe, informing him that Combs was interested in his music and would be watching his performance. Doe was allegedly told that if he impressed Combs, he could secure a deal with Bad Boy Records and gain access to studio sessions with the hip-hop mogul.
Following the performance, Doe attended an after-party at the venue, where he encountered a scene filled with drugs, alcohol, and celebrities. The lawsuit claims that Combs sent him an alcoholic drink made with Ciroc, Combs’ vodka brand. After consuming the beverage, Doe quickly began feeling lightheaded and eventually lost consciousness.
The lawsuit further alleges that while drifting in and out of consciousness, Doe witnessed Combs and his entourage engaging in group sexual activity, with some individuals appearing drugged, unconscious, or potentially paid escorts.
