Muammar al-Gaddafi loved to read and watch soccer.
Between 1969 and 2011, Gaddafi reigned over Libya, admittedly with an iron fist but also creating one of the most successful African countries in the last century.
The man who called himself “The Brotherly Leader” loved to read novels and non-fiction and actually regarded himself as an intellectual. His passion for soccer is also well-documented.
