Gabrielle is the first woman of color of any nationality and the first African-American gymnast in Olympic history to become the Individual All-Around Champion.

She is also the first American gymnast to win gold in both the gymnastic individual all-around and team competitions at the same Olympic games.

At the 2012 London Summer Olympics, she won gold medals in both the team and individual all-around competitions.

At age 16, when she became the first African American to take gold in the women’s all-around gymnastics in the London 2012 Olympics, the entire nation and race applauded her.

The now 23-year-old who has said that Beyonce inspired her not to quit gymnastics has motivated many people of different races to pursue their passion.

She has since accomplished countless feats in her field.
