Life it is said can be stranger than fiction and in one such instance, the Shreveport Police Department is enlisting the help of citizens to locate the whereabouts of suspect Jenalisha Lawrence, who is wanted for shooting her boyfriend after he declined to argue with her.

Lawrence, 29, is said to have left the 34-year-old man in critical condition in Shreveport, Louisiana as the police search for her in Shreveport, Dallas and Texas, where she hails from.

Lawrence is charged with attempted second-degree murder and has her bond set at $150,000.

The Saturday morning incident in the Caddo Heights neighborhood of Shreveport resulted in the man being rushed to the Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport (Academic Medical Center) with life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses say “Lawrence shot the victim following an interaction in which the man refused to argue with her.”
