Susanna Njoki Ndung’u

Njoki Ndung’u was born in 1965 and currently serves as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Kenya. She is  celebrated for her determination to fight sexual abuse and gender discrimination in the country. She is also remembered as the architect and mover of the Sexual Offenses Bill 2006, which was later passed by the Kenyan national assembly as the Sexual Offences Act 2006. Njoki holds a Masters of Law in human rights and civil liberties from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
