They are known to be the power couple and one of Hollywood’s most admired sweethearts but it seems the two are losing the spark in their relationship.
During a recent live IG chat with comedian Chris Spencer, Nicole Ari Parker said she is beginning to feel detached from her husband Boris Kodjoe as he doesn’t give her the kind of attention he used to when they were dating.
“Sometime in the last year or so I thought, you know, I wish that he was my boyfriend again,” she said during the IG chat with the comedian and his wife. “I don’t necessarily want to be single, but I miss the single life. I miss the text messages for no reason. I miss the coming up behind me when I’m scrambling eggs and just kissing me on the back of the neck.”

“I personally believe that if you’re in it for the long haul, that freshness and newness is still possible if you talk about it. Be like, ‘Look, I know we talk about date night. Let’s go have a date night. I know we talk about kissing and texting for no reason, but the last time you text me was over like the cabinet guy.’”
Boris was with her during the conversation; he appeared absent-minded and his demeanor later showed that he wasn’t pleased with what his wife said. When comedian Spenser joked that he still kisses his wife’s neck out of the blue, Boris just responded, “Okay.”

Nicole and Boris have been married for 15 years now, and they have over the years told the world how they have managed to spice up their marriage and keep things fresh. The two even launched a talk show where they gave advice to couples having problems in their relationships.
Nicole’s comments about her marriage during the IG conversation have, therefore, left fans wondering what could have gone wrong and whether everything is okay in their relationship.
