North West reveals unique upbringing by her parents as she lands 1st solo magazine cover

The spotlight-loving 10-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, North West, is stepping into her own and addressing some intriguing inquiries.

Fronting her very first solo cover for i-D Magazine, she revealed her favorite song and the inspiration behind her fashion choices, proving that she’s ready to shine independently.

North, the eldest among Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s four children, in her conversation with the magazine for their fall/winter 2023 issue, recounted her experience growing up in the public eye, according to ET online.

She reflected on the challenges of inheriting the complicated crown as the child of two celebrities. North, who recently dressed up as characters from Clueless and The Cheetah Girls for Halloween, said she embodied her personality in her current fashion sense.

She said she prefers a comfortable yet trendy look, often sporting a vintage T-shirt paired with Spider sweatpants, each priced at $150. She also described herself as the best ever and revealed her favorite song to be her dad’s track, “Through the Wire.”

North said she had some affinity for performing which is partly influenced by her father, but, she believes her desire to sing and perform is mostly her own. She is looking forward to an ambitious career aiming to make a mark in multiple industries as she looks to take on the world.

According to her, she is considering different aspirations at different points in her life. She explained that she considered being a basketball player, a rapper, and even a boxer when she was seven, but her current plan involves creating art alongside her main pursuits.

North added that she has ambitious plans for her teenage years, intending to earn money by walking dogs to afford art supplies and later combining her artistic talents with business acumen. She aspires to own her parents’ fashion lines, Yeezy and SKIMS, and become a successful business owner.

The 10-year-old expressed her love for painting, indicating that she loved to paint everything except helicopters. She explained that she found it challenging due to their intricate lines.

She also hinted at a secret art project for her mother’s recent 43^rd birthday. She said she loved being photographed on her terms rather than by paparazzi.

Shedding light on her upbringing, North found it a blessing. She shared her fondness for playing basketball and going shopping, referring to basketball as a lifestyle.

She expressed her desire to meet the late rapper Tupac Shakur and revealed her most cherished possession – a jacket once worn by Michael Jackson, gifted to her by her parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
