Nigerian Afro’n’B artist Oga’Silachi (pictured) has released his new video for love song “Leona.”

Just off of his performance at New York’s Meridian earlier this month, Oga’Silachi has now provided a visual to his earlier “Leona Nwa” track, which he originally released in June.
For the Roarin’ Lion-directed video, Oga’Silachi sings about his love interest, showing that love can be discovered when we least expect it.
On why he penned the song, Oga’Silachi told Face2Face Africa, “‘Leona’ is a beautiful love song made for the strong-minded woman. As the name suggests, Leona represents the strong-minded and lioness-like attitude women exude.
“[This song is for] the woman who, through each upset, still manages to make things work in her favor.”

Oga’Silachi (a.k.a. Uwaoma-Silachi Nwogwugwu) is one of the pioneers of the Afro’n’B art form, which brings Afrobeats and R&B music together.
