Jeremy Pope

Jeremy Pope’s performance in “The Inception” is at the top of our list for Best Actor Oscar nominations in 2023. The relationship between the writer-director Elegance Bratton and his homophobic mother, Gabrielle Union, is the basis for this semi-autobiographical film. The Inspection is a brutally honest tale about a gay son’s achievement as a gay man in the militarily hypermasculine world, as well as his hunger for the affection of his homophobic mother. As he passionately focuses all of his dreams for salvation on becoming a “hero” as opposed to being an outcast from even his own mother, Pope gives life to introspective military drama in this film. We think that because of his performance in this film, he might be nominated for best actor.
