Poem: Dreams

by Victhur Ihuka, 10:19am March 05, 2015,
Sleeping boy

blessing-590x393

In the pursuit of one’s dreams,
One has to loose easeful sleep.

Many, feeling weary and lost,
Only through dreams find spark
That ignites hope,
To live and accomplish their dreams,
And recover the spirit they had lost.

You have heard long, long ago

In the pursuit of one’s dreams
One must sacrifice easeful sleep.
But we find here the reverse:
People are leaving all their dreams.
All they want is easeful sleep.

In the pursuit of easeful sleep
People are loosing all their dreams.
Dreams don’t reside in the clouds;
They reside in those places deep inside
Places once forgotten,
 Waiting to be unearthed…

You choose:
Some dreams come true,
Some dreams stay dreams.
