Rich Paul addresses rumors he’s married to Adele

Sports agent Rich Paul is keeping his relationship with singer Adele close to his chest after speculations about their marital status. According to him, he does not feel obligated to share such intimate information, stating that people can say what they want.

He emphasized that he’s not the kind of person to publicly share his personal life and that it’s not something for the media. His comments follow a response by Adele to a fan during her Las Vegas concert in September, where she referred to Paul as her husband, fueling speculation about their marital status.

In a TikTok video, a female fan is seen proposing marriage with the singer, who declined by stating, she can’t marry her. She added that her straight orientation will not allow her to accept the request, but, most importantly, her husband, Paul, is at the concert, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Responding to the rumors during an appearance on CBS Mornings, Paul admitted that he and Adele have been supportive of each other throughout their two-year relationship. He expressed happiness and stated that they have been great for each other. When asked about marriage rumors by host Gayle King, he shied away from providing a direct response.

“You can say whatever you want,” Paul said when asked if Adele should be referred to as “Mrs. Paul”. He said that he is not the “type of person to put [his] personal life. It’s not for the media.”

Adele and Paul made their relationship public in July 2021 when they were spotted together at an NBA game. Adele has been seen wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring on her left ring finger for approximately a year.

However, she clarified that the diamond ring she wears isn’t an engagement ring but rather a reflection of her affinity for high-end jewelry. Adele has gone on to openly praise her Paul, describing their relationship as the easiest one she has ever been in.

During a media interview in 2021, the Grammy award-winning singer said she was endeared to Paul’s humor and intelligence. She explained that there seems to be a correlation between his sense of humor and intelligence, which always leaves her in awe.

She said the presence of Paul has nurtured a newfound sense of security and self-confidence, suggesting that her reaction to hurtful situations has evolved, both in romantic and non-romantic contexts.

Adele, who has a 10-year-old son named Angelo from her previous marriage to Simon Konecki, expressed her desire to become a mother again during a recent performance. She shared her eagerness to expand her family, mentioning that she’s actively compiling a list of names she fancies, recording them on her phone whenever she comes across a name she likes.
