Bisesero Genocide Memorial Center

Bisesero Genocide Memorial Center is located near Karongi-Kibuye village in Western Rwanda. It was set up to commemorate the 50,000 people who died at the site during the genocide. The site is on a hill at the small settlement of Bisesero, which is about 60 kilometers by road from Kibuye. Bisesero Genocide Memorial Center is one of the six memorial sites established around the country to commemorate victims of the deadly Rwandan genocide.
