Nyamata Genocide Museum
The Nyamata Genocide Memorial Center is located about 30 kilometers south of Kigali around the former Nyamata church, where at least 10,000 people were murdered during the 1994 genocide. It is also a burial site of 50,000 people who killed at that time. Holes drilled through the wall by perpetrators and bullet holes on the roof are still visible.
