Wildlife Sustenance
Despite the expanding cities along the Nile, this great waterway continues to be home to many wild animals. In fact, it is known to host some of the largest crocodiles in Africa. It is also common to find some of the largest hippos in the Nile mainly due to large cultivation areas along its banks. Other animals include wildebeests, Nile monitors, baboons, and birds.
