Iconic rapper and record producer Snoop Dogg has been announced as the host of the 2025 NFL Honors ahead of the Super Bowl. The star-studded event will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans.

The primetime awards show, which celebrates the NFL’s top players, performances, and plays from the 2024 season, will air live at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT on FOX and NFL Network, and stream on NFL+. However, the broadcast will not air live in all time zones, according to an NFL press release.

Snoop Dogg, a global entertainment mogul, has dominated the music industry for nearly three decades, releasing 21 studio albums, selling over 40 million albums worldwide, and earning 20 Grammy nominations.

He has also reached #1 on international Billboard charts numerous times and recently showcased his talent as a coach on NBC’s Emmy Award-winning series ‘The Voice’.

Beyond music, Snoop Dogg is a dedicated philanthropist. He founded the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) 17 years ago, providing opportunities for young athletes to thrive—more than 40 SYFL participants have gone on to play in the NFL.

The league also includes Snoop Special Stars, which ensures that children with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities can join and participate.

NFL Honors, which debuted in 2012, is a highlight of Super Bowl week. The event announces prestigious awards, including The Associated Press’ annual accolades, the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award presented by Nationwide, and the newest Pro Football Hall of Fame Class.
