Namibia placed 94th in the world and 9th in Africa in the latest ranking. In Namibia’s ancient city of Windhoek, the city’s colonial architecture, sidewalk cafes and shady parks make it feel more relaxed than a bustling metropolis. In a country with long distances between cities and national parks, it’s possible to get a taste of Namibian history, culture and cuisine within the city limits.
