Kamala Harris

Earlier this year, Senator Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) announced her candidacy for the 2020 presidential election in an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

“The future of our country depends on you and millions of others lifting our voices to fight for our American values. That’s why I’m running for president of the United States,” she said.

However, she dropped out of the 2020 presidential election on Dec. 4, 2019. “To my supporters, it is with deep regret but also with deep gratitude that I am suspending my campaign today,” Harris wrote on her Twitter.
