Anna Joyce

She is noted for the hit song ” No Vales Nada ” which she recorded in the Netherlands before going down with a brain tumour in 2011. After a successful operation, she returned to the music scene and at the end of 2012, she was part of a collection of Milionário Records, with the song ” Se Olhasses Para Mim “, which got her the first nomination in the Top Rádio Luanda as “Best New Voice.” She did not win but this opened doors for her as she got connected to an agent who was then working with another Angolan hitmaker, Anselmo Ralph.

In May 2013, Joyce and Anselmo travelled to Switzerland, where they recorded 4 songs including ” Tender (Answer)”, written by Anselmo Ralph and played by Anna Joyce. In February 2014, Anna Joyce released the single titled “Diário de Mulher” and has gone on to receive much recognition both home and abroad with her music.
