The Bodyguard

It is the soundtrack from the film of the same name. Released in November 1992, the soundtrack for The Bodyguard featured six new recordings by Whitney Houston, who made her acting debut in the film. According to grammy.com., the album launched Houston to a new level of superstardom. Some of the noteworthy tracks on the album were “I Will Always Love you,” I’m Every Woman,” and “I Have Nothing”. The first single, “I Will Always Love You” spent 14 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, which was a record at the time. It earned Record Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female at the 36th Grammy Awards. The Bodyguard, which is the best-selling soundtrack of all time with over 45 million copies sold worldwide, was also named Album of the Year.
