Jamaica
In 2016, an estimated 30,000 people were living with HIV in Jamaica, the same number as of 2005 and an increase from 29,000 in 2010.
It posted 1700 new HIV infections and 1300 HIV-related deaths. It has the highest number of people living with HIV who know their status in the English-speaking Caribbean, which has been attributed to the community-led prevention and testing initiative.
Jamaica adopted the ‘treat all’ policy in 2017.
