Dodo
Dodo is a simple but unique Nigerian delicacy made from plantains, which are available locally all year-round. Plantains are very easy to prepare. First, it’s peeled and neatly sliced or diced in uniform sizes, before being sprinkled with salt and deep fried until it’s light brown in appearance.
The preparation is pretty straightforward, but the taste is out of this world. This is another ideal and gentle introduction to Nigerian cuisines. The delicacy is eaten alone or in combination with rice, beans, or yams.
