Actor-singer Tyrese Darnell Gibson has made some shocking revelations. Despite his reported $4 million net worth, Tyrese confessed in the middle of an interview that his earrings were fake.

During an appearance on Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, the famous actor told co-host Charlamagne, “You know why it’s not real? Because I’ve lost so much of this sh*t. I done spent half a million dollars on a f*king watch. Call Jacob The Jeweler, n*ga. Call all of them. All the most famous, popular jewelers online, they all got my black Centurion [American Express card]. That thing goes through. I’m good.”

“I don’t lose no sleep over trying to win the popularity contest showing up with all this jewelry that I’ma leave on the nightstand and have a housekeeper that says, ‘I don’t know!’ I’m sure you don’t know where them f*king $250k earrings is at!” he added, per HipHopDX.

In an emotional confession, the 45-year-old also declared that even his bracelet wasn’t real, saying, “If it all ends for me tomorrow, I never sold you on fake. None of the jewelry that’s on my arm is real,” as he unclamped a bracelet on his wrist. “Dont love me because of no f*cking diamond. This bracelet right here looks real as a motherf*cker. This shit was $23 on Amazon.”

Aside from these heartfelt yet humorous exchanges, Tyrese’s interview took a serious turn when he discussed the aftermath of Baby Boy, getting outsold by other artists, performing on Masked Singer, mental health, and experiencing loss.

Without holding back, he let the tears fall down his cheeks. When Charlamagne offered him some tissues, he shoved them away, declaring, “I don’t need no tissue. Black men cry.”

Netizens praised his transparency in the interview, giving him a lot of positive feedback. Chance the Rapper also uploaded a clip from the interview on X, expressing his support for Tyrese by referencing a sentence from the video: “When you do things from the heart, it affects hearts. That is what beautiful pain is.”

Tyrese has been through a lot of drama in recent times. In May, he reportedly walked out on a concert to avoid being served with a lawsuit. His ex-wife Samantha Lee has also accused him of refusing to pay his $10,000 monthly child support, adding that he should be found in contempt of court.
