5. Find out the colors of the wedding and try to dress accordingly when you can.
This isn’t a must, but it makes you feel more a part of the party. If you can’t afford the Aso-Ebi or you don’t have enough time to buy it, find out the colors and pick an outfit that matches the aesthetics of the event. You may get lucky since some weddings don’t even have Aso-Ebi; they just have a color the bride or groom’s side should wear.
Try to wear traditional attire for the traditional ceremony — you’ll be glad you did. Even Ankara material in a modern cut is fine. And who knows, if your colors are similar to that of the bridesmaids, you may just get pulled in to the bridal train!
