White supremacy is still prevalent in these parts of Africa

Sudan/South Sudan

People of South Sudan faced issues of racism and maltreatment. Although slavery was outlawed by British colonizers, it re-emerged due to the civil wars that have been rampant in Sudan since the 1980s.

Racism was among the reasons the South Sudanese seceded from the north in 2010.
