Cameroonian Women Use Beekeeping To Make Way for Children

In the northwest region of Cameroon, near Bamenda, Marianna Tanda Fumsi, the founder of a beekeeping cooperative, is one of several women who are using beekeeping to pay for their children’s school fees. And due to the success of beekeeping, nearly 20 years later, several other cooperatives have sprung up across the region in Belo, Fundong, and Bamendankwe. Photographer Eleri Griffiths took the following photographs in order to tell these women’s stories.
