On Saturday April 4,2015, New Yorkers, Food lovers, Afropolitans, World Travelers, will get a chance to celebrate and experience dishes from some of the top African restaurants and chefs in NYC. They will enjoy exceptional delectable dishes from various African Restaurants and chefs including Madiba, Farafina Café and Lounge, Le Souk Harem and more. Visit BeUevents.com for more details.

Produced by Panla and a Taste of Africa USA, two leading culinary events companies reinventing the way African food is consumed and discovered, this special event will feature a buffet style menu and with great people – network with a global, cultured and outgoing crowd. Listen to Afro-pop, Afrobeats, Azonto and more. This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate an important occasion in style with friends – celebrate your birthday!

The event will kick-off inside the DL (95 Delancey St, New York, NY 10002 by Ludlow) from 2.30 pm till 9.30 pm with happy hour specials till 4pm. This rendezvous will feature music by DJ SM, DJ Take and DJ Yoossouph bringing some of the best of African music. Guest will be given a chance to win complimentary goodies. Some of the chefs been featured include Chef Clemon Zobo (Ivory Coast), Chef James Lupembe (Tanzania), Hagereseb Chef Zufan, Culinary Artist George Taylor (Sierra Leone), D’wanna Hicks and more chefs to be announced. Also will be featuring Madiba Restaurant, Farafina Cafe and lounge and Le Souk Harem.

Part of the proceeds of this event will benefit ASBA Foundation a non-profit organization dedicated to helping poor African Children in Senegal.
