Chicago rapper Lil Durk has made history in 2025 by becoming the Hip-Hop artist with the most Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certifications.

Only a few hours before Durk released his ninth studio album, ‘Deep Thoughts’, the 32-year-old rapper secured another huge win for his impressive career.

Lil Durk has earned 53 new RIAA certifications, which is actually the most for any hip-hop musician this year.

After receiving the news of the incredible milestone he’s attained, Durk celebrated the feat on Instagram, where he shared an Alamo Records graphic that featured all his RIAA-certified titles.

The list had the likes of full-length projects ‘Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 (2020)’, 7220(2022), and Almost Healed (2023). 

For his singles, Lil Durk’s top-performing songs were “Broadway Girls” featuring Morgan Wallen (five-time multi-platinum) “3 Headed Goat” with Lil Baby and Polo G, 4x multi-platinum, “All My Life” with J. Cole (4x multi-platinum), as per a Complex report.

The RIAA has also revealed that Durk cements himself “among the top 50 artists of all time with 52.5 million units.”

With 53 new RIAA certifications, Lil Durk has got fans in high spirits as the feat secured his place as the artist with the most Hip-Hop certifications this year, also among the top 50 artists of all time.

Durk’s new accomplishment comes after his famous win at the 2024 Grammy Awards where he won the Best Melodic Rap Performance ft. J Cole with the track “All My Life.”
