Sasha Obama, the daughter of former U.S. President Barack Obama, has been in the news after she was recently photographed smoking.
The 23-year-old was captured on Friday, September 13, 2024, smoking a cigarette while driving in Los Angeles traffic.
Following the release of the photo, a user on X, seemingly a Donald Trump supporter, shared an older image of Sasha smoking. In the same post, the user also criticized President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Vice President Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella, targeting them alongside Sasha.

The X user cryptically criticized the parents, suggesting they had failed in raising their children. The post included a collage of Sasha, Hunter, and Ella, alongside a picture of Donald Trump’s son, Barron Trump, insinuating that Barron had been raised “clean” while others were not.

Fans took to the comments to weigh in on the matter, with many criticizing Sasha’s behavior.
One user commented, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. One of the greatest measures of a man is the quality of the child he raises. Trump gets an A.”
Another wrote, “You can always judge a person by how their kids turn out!”

Barack Obama has admitted to struggling with smoking, calling it an addiction. In 2009, he told reporters, “I constantly struggle with it. Have I fallen off the wagon sometimes? Yes. Am I a daily smoker, a constant smoker? No.”
He later added, “Once you’ve gone down this path, it’s something you continually struggle with.”
However, Michelle Obama later confirmed that her husband had successfully quit smoking, reportedly saying, “It’s been almost a year.”
