Grammy-winning musician Justin Bieber on Thursday took to his Instagram Story to seemingly tease fellow singer Stevie Wonder.

In his post alongside a screenshot of him smiling and trying to FaceTime Wonder, who is blind, Bieber, 31, jokingly wrote: “This fool never sees my FaceTimessss,” US Weekly reported. Bieber also added Wonder’s Overjoyed song to his post.

It appears Bieber and Wonder, 74, have a good relationship as the Canadian singer has high regard for the latter. Prior to attaining global fame, Bieber occasionally sang renditions of Wonder’s songs, and they were shared on YouTube.

In 2011, the pair also performed Someday at Christmas, which is Wonder’s song, during a benefit concert in Los Angeles. The pair also share something in common as they are child stars. Bieber landed a record deal aged 11, while Wonder, on the other hand, was 15 when he got his deal.

Bieber also poking fun at Wonder came after NBA Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony jokingly recalled an encounter where the blind legendary singer told him that he loved watching him play, Face2Face Africa reported.

Anthony, 40, touched on that encounter during an episode of his “7PM in Brooklyn” podcast. Per US Weekly, Anthony told his co-hosts that the meeting with Wonder happened during the 2011 All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles

“He said, ‘I love watching you play,’” the former New York Knicks star said in reference to Wonder. Anthony’s co-hosts, Rudy Gay, The Kid Mero and Kazeem Famuyide, burst into laughter after he revealed what Wonder had told him.

“I’m out,” Gay said. Anthony, who was adamant Wonder had told him that, also said LeBron James was even around when the blind singer uttered those words to him.

“There’s a lot of people that can vouch for this,” Anthony said. “There’s a lot of people that was around that can vouch for this.”

Anthony also jokingly said that he ended up “crying before the game” after the encounter. “It f—ed me up,” he recalled. ‘I love watching you play.’ It f—ed me up.”

The 40-year-old also reiterated he was telling the truth. “You really think that I’m going to make some s— up like that?” he asked his co-hosts. “I don’t play around with that type s—.”
